Hello I'm Maia! Nice to meet you!
Hi! I’m Maia, a graphic designer from the Toledo area. I see design as a way to communicate ideas, build connections, and create meaningful experiences.
recently graduated with a degree in Graphic Design from Bowling Green State University, where I focused on design foundations, typography, 2D and 3D design, and user interface/user experience (UI/UX) design. My time at BGSU gave me a strong foundation and helped me grow as both a creative and a problem-solver in an ever-evolving field.
While at BGSU, I interned with the Center for Regional Development (CRD), where I worked on a variety of projects supporting community initiatives throughout northwest Ohio. It was a great opportunity to apply my design skills in a professional setting and collaborate with a team working to make a real impact through design.
I also served as both President and Program Director of BGSU’s Design Club (formerly AIGA). In these roles, I helped lead the team in organizing events, running design workshops, creating promotional materials, and managing our Instagram page. Being part of the club’s leadership gave me a chance to combine my passion for design with community-building and mentorship, which is something I really value.
